Join a subject

Before you can see your results, your account needs to be linked to a subject on your teacher's roster. You do this once per subject using a join code.

Enter the join code

Your teacher or school will give you a join code for the subject. Open the join page, type the code and continue. If the code isn't recognised, check for typos and confirm it with your teacher — codes can be changed, so an old one may no longer work.

Confirm who you are

To make sure your account links to the right record, Ampil asks you to find your name and confirm your date of birth. Pick your name from the list and enter your date of birth exactly as the school holds it. This step protects your results from being linked to the wrong person.

Finishing up

Once your identity is confirmed, your account is linked to that subject and you'll be taken to your dashboard. You can repeat this with another code to join more than one subject — they'll all appear under a subject selector on your dashboard.
