Subjects
Create subjects and set the RAG thresholds that colour all analysis.
Subjects
Subjects are the top of the structure — schemes of work, classes, tests and rosters all sit under a subject. Each subject also carries the RAG thresholds that decide when a score counts as red, amber or green throughout the app.
Creating a subject
Add a subject with its name and its RAG thresholds — the red, amber and green percentage boundaries. These thresholds drive the colours you see in reports and on pupil dashboards, so set them to match how your department judges performance.
Editing a subject
Open a subject to change its name, its RAG thresholds or its average band. Changes apply wherever that subject's analysis is shown.
Deactivating and deleting
You can deactivate a subject to hide it without losing its data; deactivated subjects are listed separately and can be brought back. Permanently deleting a subject removes it and everything under it — schemes, classes, tests and results — so Ampil asks you to type a confirmation first. Use delete only when you're certain the data is no longer needed.
