Assessments
Create tests, add their questions, and set which classes sit them.
Assessments
Assessments are the tests pupils sit. Each test is made up of questions, and it's the questions — with their marks and topics — that let Ampil analyse performance in detail.
Creating a test
Choose a subject, then create a test with its name and its questions in one go. For each question you set its number, its topic text and the marks available. You can also allow pupils to enter their own marks for the test, and set which classes it's available to.
Editing tests and questions
Open a test to rename it, change its options, or edit its availability per class. You can add, edit or delete individual questions — adjusting the topic text or marks available — at any time.
Importing questions from a CSV
For large tests, import the questions from a spreadsheet. Ampil parses the file and shows a review before anything is saved; you can also replace all of a test's questions from a CSV in a single transaction. This is the quickest way to set up or update a long paper.
Availability
Setting a test's availability per class controls which classes can record marks against it. Once questions and availability are set, link the questions to scheme topics on the Mappings screen so RAG analysis works.
