Data export

The export screen lets you pull a subject's data out of Ampil as CSV files — handy for backups, reporting, or moving data between systems.

What you can export

Choose a subject, then export any of the following:

Export	Contents
Scheme topics	Every topic for every scheme in the subject.
Questions	Every question for every test — number, topic text and marks.
Student details	The full roster: name, external ID, date of birth and class set.
Results	Per-question marks and test totals for all pupils in all classes.

Each export downloads as a CSV you can open in a spreadsheet. To bring data back in, use the CSV import tools on the Students, Assessments and Prior attainment screens.
